Proudly Nigerian.

Nigeria is a Nation of valuable sovereignty. A Nation, where it’s Culture and Heritage are impeccable. A Nation of elegant and charismatic Citizens. A Nation of limitless prospects.

I am proudly Nigerian.

In all these, however, I weep for this great Nation. One which has been deprived of basic amenities by its Citizens in incumbent power. Regardless, I will always stand-up for this Nation.

I am proudly Nigerian.

Much ado about 60 years of independence and yet, a Nation so affluent, is filled with poverty-stricken people. Massacres and the denial of fundamental human rights, are the order of the day. Nonetheless, I will always honor my roots.

I am proudly Nigerian.

The obtuse Leaders, vehemently care less if the Nation wallows in shambles. Why should they, anyways? They have it all. Notwithstanding, its resilient Citizens, still make something out of NOTHING.

I am proudly Nigerian.

Safe to say, there is a substantial retrogression in the Nation. All hope is virtually lost; same story everyday. But should we really lose hope in any situation? There is light at the end of the tunnel, they say.

I am proudly Nigerian.

The labors of our Heroes past, shall indeed, never be in vain. The change we so desperately desire, starts from You and I. We will uphold the legacy bestowed upon us, and future generations, to the best of our ability; in order to make this current depreciated Nation, greater.

I am proudly Nigerian.

I am proudly Nigerian because, no matter the Seas and Oceans I may cross, home is where the heart is. The joy and the laughter of its Citizens and Indigenes, are lines which continue to stretch, and can never be broken.
