A Shot At Being A Better You.

First off, I hope we all had a wonderful Christmas celebration, and here is to wishing you all a happy, happy New year in advance. I’m pretty sure we are all excited about this. The merriment is super bliss, I presume…

Anyways, 2020 is finally a wrap. All we can say is, ‘Baba God, thank you!’ Regardless of the twists and turns the year brought upon us, gratitude is a must. Now, 2021 is the year we all are expectant of bountiful blessings, and this is the essence of today’s blog.

‘Self-improvement’, does not necessarily involve outward vanity alone. It is a lifetime process of the Soul, Spirit Mind, and Body. A process and decision that entail a lot of ZEAL. Regardless, a lot of us tend to be all ‘goody two-shoes’. Well, it’s a facade. For the record, no one is ‘Good’, but we all can be better versions of ourselves.

2020 has been an eye opening year for us all, so much so that the ‘disconnected’ pieces of our lives, may be gradually starting to come together. However, personality upgrade should be eagerly sought after. When I say personality upgrade, I mean personality upgrade in all ramifications. It is the bedrock of our lives’ responses. Some of us may wonder why self-improvement is a necessity. You just think, ‘I know I’m not perfect, but I’m doing fine!’ Truth is, no matter how ‘fair enough’ we think we are, there is always a much more beautiful trait deposited right inside of us. We would just be doing ourselves a great disservice, if we cannot showcase it to the World.

Being ‘a better you’, ought to get you associated with doing the right things, acting the way way, all of that stuff. But the question is, what are the right things? Asides our knowledge by inspiration, how can we really apply these right things? Well, by diligently seeking help from God to improve our daily lifestyle. Do not bother trying any other method, it will flop. Trust me, it is a lot more difficult applying basic knowledge, and often times, we just do not know it, but we suck at it. For the coming years, we strive to eliminate a lot of ‘knowing’ everything, and more of doing the right things we already know, by all means necessary.

It is certainly not guaranteed that 2021 and beyond, will factory reset and be better. Of course not. Nonetheless, the threshold for the bountiful blessings we expect from the coming years ahead, stems from either our lethargy or enthusiasm towards life. It is left for us all to make a choice.

One of the beautiful things in life, is the fact that we are uniquely made. And honestly, this ‘personality upgrade’, will definitely make each of us exceptionally outstanding.

Note to self from 2021 and beyond; do not rely on grand planning. Instead, diligence, consistency, and above all, focus on God, will suffice. Then watch everything will fall right into place.
